26th May – Darcy is now happy in his forever home

17th May 2020

Darcy came into WiN on the 1st May, he was very stressed, confused and unsettled. He is an elderly boy (14 yrs old) and having been used to one family all his life it was understandable that he was very stressed. His owner sadly passed away.
After a few days in foster, Darcy became more relaxed and his sweet character started to show. His foster Lorraine says that “he is the cutest dog, loves his food, eats really well, loves his walks, just bounces along with you, travels well in the car, sleeps very well and is no trouble at all”
Darcy loves running around in the garden and letting everyone know he is there ! He is hard of hearing but is being treated with ear drops at the moment, so we are hoping this will improve. His eyesight is restricted, basically down to age, he occasionally bumps into things. He hasn’t got a bad bone in his body, is very placid and just fits in with daily life. He would love a home he can call his forever home where he can just live out his retirement.
Darcy is in foster with Lorraine and John in Essex. If you have any interest in him, please complete and application to adopt and return to either Janie or Mo.
