LOLA Adopted

Yes we know she is not a Westie, but I was asked if we could help, so we have!

Martha, now renamed Lola needed to come to the rescue because the home she had was not suitable for her needs. She is 18 months old, microchipped, vaccinated etc, but not yet spayed

Lola is in foster with Joanne in South Yorkshire

Notes from Joanne

Lola is house-trained and sleeps well. She is very active and loves to play but does use her mouth, not to bite, but does love to try to get your fingers. She would make the perfect companion dog as she does not like to be left alone and does need other resident dogs (s). She walks on a lead very well and is confident out on pavements and in fields, but she has not been socialised very well so I am trying on her walks to socialise her with other dogs. This is when she gets very nervous and barks and barks. She certainly knows what she wants and would be good with an active family as she is very boisterous. Lola is an affectionate little girl and would make someone very happy. She does not need to be lifted up and carried, and she loves her walks

update

Lola has settled into foster so well, she is a happy pup and loves to play with Joanne’s resident dogs, and family. She is still a little unsure when out walking and meeting other dogs, but Joanne is working on this, and Lola is improving

further update from Joanne

Lola is doing great she is so happy and settled with my other dogs, and even with my daughter’s large dog, she is always playing and running around, and she does think she rules the house. we still have the barking when she meets a new dog outside but she is okay with them when they come into the garden

Update

I am delighted to tell you Joanne who was fostering Lola has decided she can’t bare to part with Lola, so she is adopting her.
