Buddy- Adopted

Buddy needed to come into rescue due to changes in work and family.

Westie Buddy will be 8 years old in April 2026. He is not yet castrated. Buddy is in foster with Rebecca in Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire.

Update from Rebecca

Buddy has settled in extremely well. He has slept in his bed downstairs without any issues. During working hours, he likes to chill out on his blanket under the kitchen table and enjoys 4 walks a day, during which

He has met other dogs and neighbours, as well as sniffing every lamp post, bush and fence post!

We are looking forward to going for a longer walk in the woods at the weekend. He likes his kibble and particularly enjoys the addition of carrot chunks and cucumber!

update 28.01.2026

Thank you so much for all the interest in Buddy. I am pleased to advise that Buddy will be booked in for a health check, nail trim, and castration soon, and then Rebecca will be adopting him
