Winnie came into rescue due to severe, long-standing skin problems her previous home, with two very young children, couldn’t manage. She arrived in North Yorkshire aged 2, not yet spayed and behind on vaccinations, both held off until her skin improved.

Foster updates

We treated Winnie daily with natural Dermacton products: a soap bar in the shower, itchy-ear drops, cream massaged into her skin twice a day, and a foot spray, covering the worst-affected areas on her undercarriage, legs and feet. A grooming session helped remove fur so we could treat the sore skin underneath properly.

Winnie’s skin turned from sore and blackened to healthy pink with time and treatment. She’s since been adopted and is living her best life with a new best friend, fellow Westie Angus, whose new family continue the Dermacton routine daily.
