Nina – Adopted

8th April 2021
Nina is going to be adopted by her foster.

4th March 2021

Nina has a very sad story. Her lady owner had died leaving Nina very stressed and very confused. She was unwanted by her owners husband.

She is 7 years old, spayed and house trained. Her skin is sore due to a bad diet and stress.
Her foster says everything is baby steps with her. It is going to take time for this little lady to become confident and to have some trust and “life” about her. She is very overweight, but this is being addressed through her new diet and exercise.

Nina walks well on a lead and is clean in the house. She sleeps well at night. She used to live in a bungalow and is petrified of stairs for some reason.
She is a picky eater at the moment.
Nina does not get on with other dogs (or cats) so will need a home where she is the only dog.

Paula, her foster says this of her
“Nina is always seeking solace and has no usual westie bounce or giddiness in her. She is sort of “dead” in her eyes. There is not vibrancy or sparkle”.

She is in foster with Paula in Bradford, West Yorkshire but is not ready for rehoming. Please do not enquire about Nina at the moment, if you have any interest in her please make sure you have sent in an application to adopt for consideration.
We will update on Nina when we can.
