Update from Daveena

Good points- Bonnie is a dream to walk on the lead. Very well mannered and knows how to behave in town., at coffeee shops, in the park, at the beach etc. She is brilliant with all other dogs. She loves to play with dogs and people and especially loves to be chased. She hasn’t shown any food aggression/possessiveness at doggy meal times ((she is fed with 3 other dogs in a small kitchen).

There has been nothing bad happening when I have left her and gone shopping etc. The longest I leave the dogs is about an hour and so far she has been fine

She is a bit of a madam with human food. She can be a bit nippy if food is around (she caught me once) and has stolen food off a plate, and she is quick! For that reason I suggest she would not be suitable with young children. She definately needs to be in a busy enviroment. She is finding my quiet life (no visitors) a bit of a challenge, so I am taking her for 2 walks, morning and afternoon, to break her day up. She can also be a bit of a chewer, but thats more to her being bored. I’m guessing. She would struggle in a quiet less active home.

PS She loves my feet, the minute I take my shoes off she is there! Hahahaha

Update 18.07. 2024

Although the previous owner stated Bonnie was a Westie x Shih Tze, we rather think she is a Westie x Bishon Frise !

update from Daveena 04.09.2024

Bonnie is a loving, active, interesting little dog. She has a wonderful sense of humour! Her favourite game is to find an old sock and get you to chase her for it. She’s nevever distructive with them, but does like to chew on small plastic items like a clothes peg or toggle on a cord. She’s a clever girl and learns quickly but she gets bored easily and can be very stubborn. She would definately benefit from a busier home with lots of interaction. She is very frienly with everyone and everything she meets. She loves going to the coffee shops in town and the bowling club where she gets lots of attention. She really loves being around people. She isn’t possessive with her (dog) food but can be a little challenging when it comes to human food- and she is quick! She has snapped a couple of times when I have moved her away from our food but she is smart and once she understands what is expected of her she toes the line. She’d definately take advantage if she got the chance though.

Bonnie is a fabulous dog and would make a good companion for the right people.

26.09.2024 update

Bonnie did have a sore ear, this has now been treated, and she is fine now. We do feel Bonnie is now ready to be adopted

Hell, it’s me, Bonnie
I love being outside
Having a sit down
It’s me again, I am definately a Westie x Bishon Frise!
