Winnie- Adopted

Dear Westie Winnie needed to come into rescue due to her ongoing complex and severe skin problems, which have been ongoing for over a year. The previous owner has two very young children, and cannot give her the time and care she needs

Winnie came into our care in North Yorkshire last Friday, 18th July 2025. She is 2 years old, not spayed, and her vaccinations are not current. We cannot book her into our vets until we can overcome her skin problems. We use natural products and we have been showering her every day with the Dermacton Soap Bar, then applying the itchy ear drops, and massaging the Dermacton Cream into her skin twice daily, along with spraying her feet with the Dermacton Spray. These are just some of the parts of her body; she also has sore skin on her undercarriage, her legs, and feet.

Update 29.07. 25

Dear Winnie went for grooming yesterday, along with our Scottish Terrier Freddie, and YT Toby. I needed to get some of her fur removed so I could treat the sore skin underneath.

Update

I am delighted to say dear Winnie has been adopted, and she is living the best life, with the bonus of living with a new best friend, Westie Angus. Her adopters are continuing to treat her skin with the Dermacton products on a daily basis
