Sammy Jo- Adopted

Welcome to this little Yorkshire Terrier who needed to come into rescue and was bought as a puppy by an elderly gentleman, his wife did not want a dog, especially a puppy. The man died, and the lady found it difficult to cope with Sammy Jo. She cared for him as best she could but realised it was not fair on herself or the dog.

Sammy Jo was born on the 19th of June 2021, so he is now nearly 2 years old. He is castrated, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated. He loves people and other dogs

Mo and Ian went to collect him today (Saturday 3rd June) he travelled back home with us to North Yorkshire, and he was fine in the vehicle. Met with our 2 Scotties, Frederick and Wallace, who then showed him around outside, all with their tails wagging. He explored inside too, and sat on Ian’s lap, then stretched out on the other sofa and had a snooze.

It will be interesting to see how he settles this evening/ overnight as the lady said she normally goes to bed at 7.30 pm but then often gets up at 3 am! I think he will find the bedtime routine very different here!
