DOLLY, ADOPTED

We collected Dolly yesterday, Sunday 8th January 2023, she needed to come into rescue due to her previous owner’s ill health, she is in foster with us in North Yorkshire

Dolly is 11 months old, not yet spayed, but microchipped, vaccinated, and flea and worm treated. She is quite timid and lacks confidence in herself, and already Dolly is learning to trust, she loves being outside and is learning, with our other dogs’ help that it is okay to come inside the house, and on her first evening yesterday she enjoyed being cuddled. She slept well with the other dogs and was still tucked up in her bed this morning when I came downstairs to let them all out, prior to having their breakfasts.

Dolly is gaining confidence each day, she really is a special girl, who loves to play with toys, and loves cuddles

Dolly is now booked in for a full check over and spaying next Wednesday 1st February, the day before her 1st birthday

I do have an approved applicant who is going to adopt dear Dolly, so, therefore, I am no longer accepting any more applications interested in adopting her.

Dolly now renamed Bonnie has recovered so well from her spaying. She gets on fine with our Scotties, and they all play together so well. We have an approved adopter for her, Becky and Richard who adopted Eddie, now Ted a while ago, and came to meet her with Ted, a week ago, Bonnie and Ted played so well together. Ted went for his ‘snip’ on Monday, so Richard is coming to collect Bonnie later next week
