Isla- Adopted

Westie Isla needed to come into rescue due to her owners being elderly and could not give Isla the care she needs.

Isla is in foster care with Mo and Ian in North Yorkshire

Note from Mo

Isla lived in Torquay, Devon; her owners could not transport her to a foster home. So I was able to arrange for a very trusted transporter, Missy Freeman Davies, to collect and keep Isla overnight, and then undertake the long journey up to us in North Yorkshire yesterday, 28th February.

Isla is 11 years old, microchipped, spayed, vaccinated etc.

She arrived yesterday afternoon and is settling in very well. She is very affectionate, responds well, trots around outside and loves cuddles. She slept well last night, and we got a lovely greeting from her when we came downstairs this morning.

We will book her in for grooming soon.

Update

Isla has been to the groomer. We took her over to our vets for a full check-up. Ian has fallen in love with her, and she has fallen in love with him. She also likes me! So we have adopted her.

It’s been a long journey, so I am just having a rest
I think my face is lovely.
Having a walk around
Pausing

It’s me again

Don’t I look smart after a visit to the groomer
